How to start

1. If you have yet no login name and password, register using the Admin registration link
2. Login using your name and password in System login (after a successful login you can see your name in the upper right corner)
3. Click on the Document management - which launches (and for the first time also downloads - cca 180kB) the document management component; when asked to confirm the installation answer Yes
4. You can see the project tree in the left pane of the component - or - when used for the first time - an empty window
5. By right-clicking in the project tree window you can control the functions of the system
6. New project cen be created using a right-click and selecting the New Project function
7. Each project is a member of a Project group (you can choose your names)
8. By right-clicking on a project and selecting the New Folder you can created a folder in a project (you can make unlimited number of folders and order them hierarchically into subfolders)
9. By right-clicking on a folder and selecting the New Document you can insert (upload) documents (files) to the selected folder; you can do the same more easily by dragging a file from your local Explorer to a folder name in iProject; you can drag files from iProject directly to your local file manager in the same way; drag-n-drop works also for moving and copying files and folders inside the iProject tree
10. Right-clicking on a document provides access to the functions available for the document
11. Left-clicking on a document (highlighting) allows you to use the Info, Preview, Discussion and History tabs in the right pan
12. The Preview function (and the document type icon) is automatic - depends on document (application) type registered on your local PC (eg. DOC=Word, PDF=Acrobat)
13. To use Redline (preview and redline) on AutoCAD drawings you have to install the free Autodesk Volo View Express application (see Links)
14. After an inactivity period or after you click on the Logout you are logged out
